Frequently asked questions |
Please feel
free to call us with your questions any time at 770-205-1696:
How much does having Hit The Beach for my event cost? |
Price depends on many factors. The size of
the band, the number of hours, travel, season, day of the
week and production all affect price. For small venues we
can size down to a trio and keep your price $900 or less. A
full band is as low as $1,500 in the Atlanta area. This
price includes sound and lights for a small to medium sized
crowd. There are other options available, a very popular
one being Barry our DJ/MC. Another favorite is hula
dancers! When available.
Can we choose the songs you play at
our event and do you take requests for songs that aren't on
your songlist? |
Yes, absolutely! We are glad to tailor our
song list to your tastes. It's best to allow the band as
much freedom as you can as we have years of experience
working with crowds of diverse age groups. Everyone enjoys
the party more if the host/hostess is having a good time
too! Let us do the worrying! We can play requests that
aren't on our song list but some additional cost will be
reflected in our price. We are glad to play a disc of first
dance songs and special requests at no additional cost.
How loud do you play? |
We play at any volume the venue demands.
We have the benefit of being able to play extra quietly
mainly because of our use of electronic drums. We do
recommend seating people farther away from the band if they
feel volume is an issue. People dance more if the band plays
at a good volume but it doesn't need to be ear splitting.
How much room does the band need? |
The typical band setup is 12 feet deep and
14 feet across for a four piece band. Obviously, this
increases as the size of the band increases. We can crowd
into smaller areas if needed but some movement may be
restricted.
What is the electrical need for Hit The Beach? |
Hit The Beach will need at least 2 20-amp
circuits dedicated solely for band use. The outlets need to
be within 20 feet of the stage. In most situations this is
not a problem but if the building is an antebellum home or
the event is outdoors power can become an issue. Getting by
with less power is possible but sometimes we may not be able
to use lights.
Are you willing to travel to my city? |
Hit The Beach is happy to travel anywhere
in the U. S. and we really enjoy it! However, distance can
add to pricing.
